Hysteroscopic fibroid removal recovery - heavy bleeding and huge clots

Hi all -

i was experiencing heavy bleeding, big clots for a couple of years (diagnosed with several fibroids, biggest one was 4cm submucosal) and was severely anemic as well. Docs suspected the bleeding was due to the submucosal fibroid. I opted to remove the submucosal fibroid hysteroscopically through Myosure that the doc recommended, rather than being on birth control pills long term.

Recovery has been rough to say the least- terrible cramps, huge blood clots and heavy bleeding post surgery that timed with my first period. Second period has been similar. I feel worse now that pre-procedure. My doc suggests birth control pills for the symptoms but I went for this procedure to avoid pills in the first place.

Has anyone gone through this procedure and experienced anything similar? Will it resolve in a few cycles?
