I have a polyp which needs removing, am I right in thinking the hysteroscopy is done without pain relief????

hell no! you can choose either local anaesthetic or a general. i had a general when i had my polyps removed. my colleague had local and said she was fine with that, so its just personal preference

Hi I had this done last month.
Ask for pain relief it feels like period cramps.

to be honest it was for 30mins! longer than I expected. Buy once it's over you'll feel much better.
the biopsy wasn't a great experience but all I was thinking you'll have peace of mind 😌
