Hi I had a hysterectomy on the 2nd of april it all went ok was looked after well,and was lucky to have keyhole surgery it's been three weeks now,and dispite the border and still felling uncomefatable due to the stiches,I have a numb feeling in top of the inside of my leg not sure if I should go to the doctor or not.and also was taken off hrt but as I am 56 now that should be ok I hope 😊anyone else had any problems.

Hi Tracy, glad your Hysterectomy went well, I didn't have the numb feeling you mention but I know someone on here has experienced that problem as well, it's a little while since I heard from her so don't know how long it went on for but you should certainly go and ask about it, the uncomfortable feeling due to stiches will wear off eventually but don't forget that even though you have had keyhole, the surgeon has still cut through a few layers of tissue to get where he/she is going so your insides will be bruised and healing for a while yet.

Hi I am 3 1/2 weeks post op also keyhole and I get that too a cousin had hysterectomy 1 year ago said to me that she had same that it's nerve ending inside and does get better I get pain in my groins to and it's the cuff inside as stitches can cause discomfort to hope this helps
