I am 53 years old and since the surgery on July 31, 2018 I am still passing gas. Is it normal? I was taking Florastore probiotics (one pill per day) for 8 months but I stopped now.

Hi Violeta,
I don't think that is so unusual. I find I can't drink anything carbonated. Certain vegetables will also. Start a log to see what it is you are eating that is causing it!

Read somewhere it's normal to pass up to 2 liters gas each day, even without DD. I did and still do!!!

Thank you both very much. I was worrying a lot that maybe something wrong with me again.
I will start entering log on kind of food I am eating every day. After my surgery I eat lots of veggies and lots of fiber versus before the surgery and it is probably what causes the gas. Thank you again.

Of course i know, i am 53 years old, LOL. Thank you. I am passing lots of gas that is very smelly and it is all day long. I have never had super smelly gas in life before but also I am eating much more vegetables than before the surgery. I am hoping keeping calendar of food intake will show the reasons.
