I am 27 and eye power is still increasing.

I am so very much worried about my eye power increasing every year. I now have 6.5 in left eye and 5 in right.

I was diagnosed of glaucoma at the age of 16 by a doctor and then denied of it other. I am worried of my constant increase in power. It should have stopped by 20 years. But it is steadily increasing and no doctor is giving a reasonable answer. I am clueless and very much worried.

    Hi, my name is Sarah and I am 38 years old. My left eye is now -7.00 and my right is -6.75. My eyes continued to change till I was at least your age. My eye Dr never seemed concerned.

    They both used to be -7.00 but in the past few years one's gone back in the other direction. I guess when you near 40 they start to go backwards just a little.

    So, personally, I guess I don't know what to tell you except that, so far, your "normal" to me at least rolleyes
