    Hello himanshuv and welcome.

We are not medical experts on this forum but we do know a thing or two about high blood pressure from personal experience.  Do you smoke or drink?  Do you exercise and eat healthily? Do you eat too much salt? There is lots of advice online for sufferers of  hypertension - worth taking a look. There is also a blood pressure association which can help you.

Sometimes people have very healthy lifestyles yet still have blood pressure problems which could be due to a genetic or other component.

You are a young person compared to many of us here.  Re-evaluate your lifestyle,  continue to see the doctor and discuss lifestyle with him as well as medication.  Blood pressure fluctuates  - you may be able to lower it by making changes.  Well worth trying. Good luck.

    Alex

Hi. What are your readings? How often do you take them? Do you exercise at all? I have changed my lifestyle very dramatically and this COULD help you. Let me know your readings.

Alexandra is right. Most of us on this forum are not medically trained but tend to suggest ideas to each other in an attempt to either keep off the meds or reduce them. I opted for lifestyle changes and although I was never overweight I was pushing the upper limit of what my weight should be. I dieted, cut out all alcohol, exercised for 30 mins a day and made other small changes. Bp dropped. But recently been out with friends, had some people and family here for dinner and very slightly let my regime slip. Guess what? Bp creeping back up!! So time to get to grips with it and accept that I have to live a different life to what I have been living. As I said before, let's have your readings and as you are young I bet life style changes could help.
