I am five weeks after my hysterectomy, I am due to go back to my cleaning job in ten days. Do I need to see my doctor first?

    Hi there,

    I would go and see the dr first as they have to sign you back making sure your fit for work. personally I think you should be of for 6 weeks as the nature of your job.

    yes hun you do. yiu must be signed off by yiur consultant but too be honest I think its way to soon yo ho back to such a physical job. please see yiur consultant before yiu return.

    if you return back to your activities too soon yiu may prolapse. x

    Hello,june58395 Yes, I would strongly recommend that you follow up with your doctor before returning to work, to ensure that everything is healing properly and to get released from your doctor to return to work.

      I have made an appointment with my doctor next week and I also have an appointment with my consultant on the 2nd October. Thank you hun x
