I am a 35 year old female and was diagnosed with narcolepsy and cataplexy 15 years ago.I have been on dexedrine 60mg daily for the last 14 years .I have now decided to chance my medication with the help of my consultant and doctor to provigil 400mg daily .Its been 4 weeks since i started the change and i am now down to 15mg of dexedrine soon to be totally off all dexedrine .
Its not only the condition thats hard to live with ,its the medication to.I know its not been long since i started the change but im beginning to feel the difference with provigil physically and mentally already i only wish id changed years ago.

And unfortunately i do not agree with what you have said as i've been in reciept of PROVIGIL , DEXAMPHETAMINE , + CITALOPRAM. daily.
If you are suffering from excessive day time sleepyness the PROVIGIL will make you very snappy to others, believe me i've been there its not nice. my wife could tell you a few bad experiences she has had from me. TRY asking your neurologist for MODAFINIL tablets instead of the PROVIGIL , but keep taking the dexi's as you will get a very bad pain in your head and it dont go away i've tried it mate.....

provigil is same as Modafinil (Provigil is the brand name) and there is no generic
