I am depressed is this herpes/ hsv2?

About a year ago my HSV IGG came border line, however IGM was negative. A year later i am having the terrible outbreak if my life down there, which i suspect to be hsv.

I am sexually inactive and have had a single parter throughout my life (including physical and sexual contact)

I had my periods 3 days ago and along with that had a terrible itch and burning sensation. First in my vaginal, then clit and then both the labia. on day 3 my labia swell up and on day 4 i see cluster of bumps.

I visited my doctor but she couldn't take a swab tests since I have my periods.

gave me vagibact cream to use till then.

The pain of burning and itching is killing me. I am depressed and dont know what to do. i can not discuss this with anyone as people in my surroundings are not supportive imageimage

    is this herpes? please help. the itching and burning is too much to handle and the doctor isnt prescribing me anything till my periods clear for the virus culture

      First and foremost any doctor should still be able to swab you even if youre on your period because thats what they do! Also, I do not see any sores do you have any?

      cluster of lesions , in the picture the entire labia is red and thats tiny bumps and white heads.

      i dont understand why the doctor didn't do it. told me that that the periods will mess up the results of the viral culture, wont be as accurateimage

      i see what youre talking about i would wait and see if they pop and form ulcers thats the telltale sign. Also, go back and get a blood test and get another in 12 weeks gir final confirmation

    update: I visited the doctor. she told me it's some sort of bacterial or fungal infection. because my lesions were gone by the time of 6th day. According to my doctor, if it were herpes / hsv2 it would have left some sorf of ulcers, couldnt have healed in a matter of week.

    now i only have itching, lesions are gone. she gave me medicine and vagibact cream for it

      regardless of what she said make sure you get a blood test in 12 weeks

    did it hurt when you pee? im having similar issues and im freaking out
