I am getting Jerks/ Jolts developed from my back and travels to abdominal area, what should I do??

I am a 74 years old male and since last 10 years suffering from backache. I am a diabetic patient but it remains under control. During initial six years the Back support belt and Backache pillow provided me relief. Since last 4 years my condition has gotten worse and now the situation is that when i am lying on the bed, there is absolutely no problem to my back but the moment i will get up and trying to sit or stand, my abdomin become stiff and i recieves jolts/ jerks which develops from my hip area travels to the lower back and from there to the front abdominal portion. The speed or intensity of these jerks/ jolts is 1 jolt /sec but it reduces to half once I start walking( i mean 1 jerk/ 2 second). If i remain stand for 5 or more minutes or even sits on a chair, I can feel growth on both sides of the bladder. the size of that growth can be measured as 4 inches long and 1 inch wide but there is no feeling/ pain in this growth. My current MRI report says that:-

Mild scoliosis of lumber spine with convexity towards right side.

Multilevel disc dehydration, ligamentum flavum hypertrophy and facet joint arthropathy.

Left paracentral diffuse disc bulge at L3- L4 and L4- L5 levels resulting in moderate left sided lateral recess narrowing with thecal sac indentation.

Right paracentral disc protrusion at L5- S1 level resulting in moderate right lateral recess narrowing with thecal sac indentation.

Disc height reduction is also noted at this level.

With these reports i have visited various Neuro physicians, Neuro Sergon , Orthopadic Surgon, Cheropatics , Surgical Specialist and i dont know what all.

I even got operated for Hernia as advised by a doctor but all in vain.

Now my condition is quite serious and i cant even travel or attend any occassion. Would request the forum to please suggest some suitable treatment/ doctor for the same.

Are you in the UK ? If so, get your Gp to refer you to a pain management team...I went to St Thomas' s Hospital and they have done miracles with me...especially for facet joint pain...having had two Denervation procedures where they cauterise the medial branch nerves that send pain signals to brain.....

I have multiple problems with my spine...very similar to yours, plus 3 fractured vertebrae and am still managing.....

So do try a Pain Management team if you can....Dr David Pang and my team are fab...x
