I AM GOING FOR ANGIOGRAM , I HAVE HAD IT WITH MY PAIN

Posted , 4 users are following.

After all the struggling with many cardiologists with all noninvasive tests done ( all results were normal ), however pain won't go away unlike how was from before now it is coming on exertion and anxiety lately. I am 26 years old slim male, I have been dealing with anxiety and lack of sleep accompanying pains and aches everywhere for a long time, what was dooming the most the new types of crushing pain in my chest area with shortness of breath, this new pain kept me from doing normal sport , in fact it kept me from living normally. An expert cardiologist have assigned me for an angiogram tomorrow, I will update my post here if I stay alive sad , I cannot find words to describe the gruesome reality of my state right now .

Keep holding on

Antony,  i'm so sorry you are going through this. I'm sure it's very stressful for you. You are going to be just fine. But remember, when the results come back normal please realize that you are OK.   I can't think of any more cardiac tests that can be done once the angiogram is complete. That will confirm everything.

stress and anxiety can cause unbelievable symptoms that mimic more serious conditions.

Once this is all done, you need to  put all of your effort into getting support for managing stress and anxiety. Not Sure if you have visited a counselor or therapist  Who specializes in anxiety,  but in my opinion it should be an ongoing thing even when you start to feel better.   Anxiety, depression etc. are difficult to manage alone.  The therapist can help you determine what is at the root of your anxiety and show you ways to take control of it so that you can live a better life, happy and with peace of mind.

The mind is a very powerful thing , and that can't be good or bad,but we have to lead it   In the right direction. It will go wherever we tell it to either negative or positive so you need to become a fighter for yourself!

you will be just fine and  remember, they do these angiograms all the time, every day!  ??😁

Thank you for the reply Jan, weeks ago i was thinking nothing is wrong with my heart, but i know that pain related to anxiety will most probably vanish when moving and active life style , so i did quit smoking about 3 weeks ago and i take a long walk everyday, i started to realize that sometimes i have chest pain when tired and especially when it is windy and all the sweat will cause my body temp to drop that is why i went to the fifth cardiologist and he told me the ECGs are fine however the electrocardiography has a small malfunction which is not necessarily dangerous, but it is better to be safe than sorry.

you are right angiogram is the most direct thing to check the heart. if nothing is wrong this agony should come to an end, i did complete blood test today , sedimentation rate , C reactive protein, LDL , HDL , phosphorus and many more, everything is fine , i should accept that nothing wrong with me after all and get back my life.

I'm glad to hear all those labs  were good!

yes, once you find out the angiogram was normal, you can get going with your life. Don't do what I did which was waste over 20 years of my life worrying about every little ache and pain. I can never get  those years back and nothing was ever wrong with me. Well actually it was all anxiety-based! Now I know how to keep in better control of it.

I know that for some people anxiety and depression can actually be genetic based  or hereditary.  That's why some people don't understand what we're going through, even doctors. So we have to take action on our own so that we can live a happy life.  I still get occasional anxiety symptoms and I realize that I probably always will, but that's OK because I can put them to rest with my mental attitude, meditations and anxiety, and having a positive outlook. I will always   Be more prone to having a little anxiety but I've accepted  that and my life is great .

you will definitely get there!! 😁

    Hi Antony,

I hope things start to get better for you. Try to push yourself to go for a walk even 5 min. Do mediation, breathing, be around people... I'm having terrible anxiety and it is hell! I have to push through every day!  Thank GOd  for my kids living with me! Try and do something that you enjoy! Even if it's a small thing! I find it comforting to have a cup of hot water with honey. I know you probably have heard all this . Stay strong . If it helps keep talking on the group as well💞🙏🏾
