I am having a relapse of CFS after three years. I have good days and bad days. I just want to sleep.

I am suffering from extreme exhaustion for the last one month. All my tests are normal. Doctor had told me three years back I had CFS. I was fine for such a long time, then suddenly I am feeling totally exhausted. I have bad and good days. How long will this last?

Sounds like you are suffering boom and bust. It occurs because on the good days you do too much. I did this for years until I learned to pace myself better on the good days, then I didn't bust so frequently. Now I rarely bust at all and have educated my body back to an almost normal life. But I still take care and don't overdo it. I have learnt, take too much energy and the body bites back and I end up doing far less.

    best of luck

Try not to just sleep even if you feel like it it is key to maintain a proper sleep pattern.

If you lose it it is hard to get back plus over sleeping can make you feel worse I know strange isn't it too think if you sleep too much it makes you feel even more tired.

Just go slow as well not too slow but slow up what you are doing dont force it you may not be able to do what you was doing before and you need to ease back into that level
