I am sick I am not stupid its not all in my head, I am battling each every day with a chronic illness.

    i have even doubted myself at times and when i have beento docs i have felt like there sitting there judging me putting it down to stress and when they tell you it is a brain prob as in the way the brain perceives signals it makes it worse trying to explain to people

      Hi we have all been their when we have doubted ourselves, I can remember thinking Im sure Im going mad. its difficult in explaining fibro to any one,as they just dont understand or get it. I tried explaining it to someone a couple of weeks ago, and they changed the subject? some drs and specialists havnt got a clue on what fibro is about. people need to be better educated in it. if you have a printer google fibro print info off for friends family a loved one. and see if doing that helps. according to experts we are suppose to be lacking in brain chemicals serotonin noradrenaline and dopamine. Our brain and our body are complex things, we are having trouble ourselves trying to understand it all, never mind trying to explain it any one elserolleyes take care gentle hugs x

      we certainly Mace fibro needs to be more recognised and better understood. I  signed a petition not so long ago it was going to the uk primeminister whether it will do any good at all remains to be seen. I know their are organisations out their that are doing all they can to get fibro more out their and better under stood, as yet their efforts havnt had a big enough affect. kaz x

      Hi Bee Thank goodness for this forum its a big help, having people that know how your feeling any what your going through the support its a great forum with lovely people. hearing other peoples experiences of fibro also has been really interesting. we are definitly all here for each other. take care gentle hugs xxsmile
