    Hi shakie32

Unfortunately the virus is in your system for life..

Your first outbreak is the worse. I have been lucky had my first outbreak which was the worse 6 years ago .then i had a secound outbreak which i only had like one tiny blister... lasted couple days .. i take vitamin c and Lsynine tabs daily for preventions.. and that seems to do the job.. try not to stress and keep away from soaps.

I know i went thru the shock and thought nobody would ever want me again..

    Its not true so.

there is a very high number of us that are either carrier's or have it, alot of as dont know.

Emu oil is also good for clearing the blisters up fast..

i have been with my partner for 4 years and he has not had any outbreaks..

hope this helps you hun xx

Thanks for the info, but I must say my first outbreak it was only one blister and it cleared up in one week by taking Valtrex.
