I am struggling to sleep even after my medication

I have had zoplicone 7.5mg for a couple of years that I take now and again. Last night I had to take two to get a sleep even though the last time I took any was over 3 months ago. Tonight I've taken 7 and still wide awake. My only option is to take some more or my 5mg diagram unless someone has any tips. Would be greatly appreciated

We should not stop any sleep medication suddenly. It will change brain chemistry and cause serious sleep disorders

Zopiclone builds a tolerance for me quick too. When I first took them I worried 7.5mg would not be enough so I took two, after 20 mins I felt kind of drunk....heavy limbs and went to bed and slept for 8 hours with no waking in the night. It was a great sleep. The next night I took the same dose but only slept 4 hours.
I think the problem I had was the night before taking Zopiclone I was drinking alcohol every night to get to sleep but alcohol works similar to Zopiclone on GABA receptors in the brain. So your brain doesn't know the difference between Zopiclone and alcohol. So if someone has been drinking every night for a while like I did and then take Zopiclone it won't work as well as it should.
Have you tried Zolpidem? It's supposed to work better than Zopiclone, especially if someone has trouble falling asleep.

I have read that you are on zopiclone which is a type of sleeping Tablet, it would be really helpful if you could tell me if you are Over the age of 30 years old or are you Under the age of 30 years old.
