I am suffering from horrible perimenopause symptoms...and some not mentioned on MENOPAUSE websites

I HAVE READ AND PRINTED A LONG LIST OF PERI-MENOPAUSE SYMPTOMS FROM CERTAIN WEBSITES - BUT SOME IMPORTANT ONES AREN'T MENTIONED.
RECENTLY MY BODY HAS BEEN ACHING LIKE THE 'FLU' AND MOST DAYS MY LEGS FEEL LIKE JELLY.
AND DOES ANYONE ALSO HAVE AGITATION AND BODY TWITCHING IN BED ? !!!
I GET FATIGUE, NAUSEA, HEADACHE, ANXIETY, IRRITABILITY/ULTRA-SENSITIVITY, DISTRESS WITH LOTS OF PEOPLE (IN SHOPS etc.). INABILITY TO FOCUS AND STRUGGLE TO GET TO GRIPS WITH HOUSEWORK FOR EXAMPLE ... I FEEL LIKE "S**T" MOST OF THE TIME 😢
ANY MEDICAL PEOPLE KNOW IF IT'S SAFE TO TAKE DISPRIN OR PARACETAMOL ???

Body aching, jelly legs, twitching at night, they're all menopause symptoms. I've been feeling them all. A little overwhelming at times. Don't know about the medicine...
Hang in there 😘

Hi, I have all these too, especially the muscle twitching at night. I find they get worse if I'm anxious or stressed. Its the only symptom that hasn't disappeared, all the others have visited and then not returned.
Drives me mad, the flu like aching has just affected my hands at the moment. I get tinitus symptoms too.
I take vit D,glucosamine, magnesium, vitB6 vit B12 and evening primrose oil.
I'm thinking of taking St John's Wort. I can't have HRT as I'm in remission from breast cancer. Sometimes I get so anxious I think it's the cancer returning, especially when I get dizzy or feel spaced out.
Im a single mum too and i feel so bad when I don't want to take the kids anywhere as I'm so tired.
Take care hun. We can get through this.xx.

Sorry to hear about your previous BC. That's a bummer on top of Meno symptoms.
People talk about the right foods helping but depends on the individuals severity I would say ...

Yes, I get the aches and jelly legs too. In fact i've been battling a cold for 2 weeks that leaves me week. I have the fatige, feeling off, not so much dizzy but kind of detached if that makes sense.

Yes, you can take paracetamol. It's for aches and pains. Dispirin is an anti-inflammatory but it contains codeine. Codeine will put you to sleep and cause constipation. It's up to you.

Yes, sounds familiar. I just turned 50 but have been having strange symptoms for at least five years. Now I feel like a person catching a cold, flu. Feel feverish, warm, sluggish and even a little head congestion. Low energy. I'm trying to push though today and go back to the gym for a little
Light exercise. Been reading on all these strange symptoms. Doctors have not been super helpful.
I read we need our liver to be clean and healthy and not fatty in order to process hormones better. So I'm also making sure I eat much cleaner than before to ensure my liver is not congested. God bless

Welcome to the world of menopause these symptoms are horrible but hang in there hun there is a light at the end of the tunnel back some years ago your whole post describe me I'm not as bad now I still have the aches in my wrist shoulders and elbow but the other symptoms have really subsided anxiety was the worst for me but it has truly been good to me I've learned to deal with so much that it's the least of my menopause now when I tell you I had A-Z symptoms it's true but today I feel so much better all natural not a drug at all doc says that makes it linger because once your off it comes back full force so hang in the wishing you well

Hello Lena- I have all your symptoms you listed and more. I'm 48 and have been a nurse for 20 years. Since these symptoms began in June, I have been an absolute mess. The fear and panic attacks (ive never had in my life) have been debilitating. I cannot think straight and feel as though I am out of my body watching life go by. In August, I had to take a medical leave from work. I've had MRI, CT Scans, labs and have seen 11 different doctors. None of them have answers.......then i found the peri and menopause forums and I cannot even say how much comfort it has brought me, just knowing I am not alone. I think this is what is going on with me, yet not one doctor put it together. I have felt so alone, even though I have so much support. Thank you to each brave woman on here for telling your story and creating a community of support.

Hi,
Yes, I know the feeling of gas trapped and acid reflux. It is misery when the pain hits and makes you feel like you are dying. I am going on 51 this September, 2021 and have been suffering multiple perimenopausal issues since my late 30s too. Everything from dizziness, nausea, joint pain, hot/cold flashes, twitchy legs, heart palps, etc. I just wish I could get to menopause and be done with it all. I feel you and the others and may we all get through these times.
