i am going to keep this fairly short considering i have typed this message on many sites seeking help already without being able to receive any.

i am 18 years old and a male. ive been experiencing blood and burning when i urinate for 2 years now.

heres what i have been through and what medications and checks i have received over these 2 years

-check for stds came up negative still took the medication didnt solve it

-2 separate dosages of medication for a urinary tract infection. didnt solve it

-had my prostate checked twice and was told it was swollen and it also hurt when it was touched. recieved medication for prostatitis. didnt solve it

-had an ultrasound but they found nothing wrong.

-finally had a visit with a urologist who believed it was due to a blockage in my shaft of my penis. there was one and it was removed and i simultaneously had a catheter put in. was told it shouldnt hurt but it was the most painful thing i went through in my life. breaking bones dont come close.

now im at the point where after all this it still continues. my doctor doesnt return my calls about it anymore and the hospital keeps recommending thing i have already done. and today ive finally started experiencing blood in my stool as well. what is going on inside my body and why havent any doctors been able to find the reason? could it be prostate cancer? the thing every doctor ive met has continued to overlook due to my age?

You describe pain and discomfort. Both of which at the early stages of cancer are not typical.

If I were you I would search for a well regarded urologist at a high quality hospital nearby.

    gm

Have you had a complete blood work done ?

I would also recommend a MRI and a cat scan

at 19 your probably running around like a rabbit so i would check for any kink of sex communicable diseases

Lets just hope you need a shot of penicillin or somithing for a std

As Bernie says this does not sound at all like PCa and at your age it is almost unheard of. You need to examine other, more likely causes.

you can pay to get a private consultation from a gastro urinary specialist. normally about 200 quid, and get it checked out by a pro, someone whi has felt 1000 prostates.

i have had different docs tell me different things, one really put the scare on me, went private and the pro guy said its totally normal.

blood in stool is a no no. get this checked. if bright red, not dark maroon or black, could be piles or sore ring cracks from over wiping

I know you must be going nuts with all the pain and discomfort you are experiencing. At your age I wouldn't think it would be prostate cancer. That would be very rare. A blood work check for an elevated PSA might point to further prostate concerns. The elevated PSA in the blood is usually a first indication of something wrong like prostate cancer. And the digital exam by the doctor would reveal lumps and hardness that would also be suspect. The fact that you say it is painful when the doctor gives you the digital exam, I would think it might be prosatitis. I've had that in the past and it is not pleasant. Discomfort when sitting, and sometimes it feels like you have a golf ball up your behind. And prostatitis is hard to cure. You may need a better antibiotic, or take it for a longer period. My primary care doctor explained to me why it is so hard to cure. It is because the prostate is in many layers and it is hard for the antibiotic to do it's work. But the fact that you have blood in your urine should be more of a concern to your doctor. If possible, see if you can be treated by another doctor. Good luck to you.
