I am worried about that why left side of my penis is big

Posted , 1 user is following.

Recently, I noticed that there is something in the shape of round in left side of my penis. It is soft and I don't feel any pain when I touch it. I'm sexually active.

Do I need to visit doctor for this or it is normal?

It doesn't sound normal, but without seeing a pic, it's hard to say if it's something you need to see a doctor about.

This should help you add images:

If you're using a phone or tablet, you may need to choose the desktop/PC option in your browser, or if that doesn't work, you may need to use a PC or laptop.

How long has it been there, and has it changed since you first noticed it?

Could it have been there for years, and you only just noticed?  It looks like that's how your circumcision healed, in which case it's probably nothing to worry about

Thank you for your reply. 2 years ago once I got it very big with a lymph node in my groin. After check up it was due to lots of masturbation.

However, after a week it went normal but the skin becoz like this as u can see.

These days when I pee I feel very little burn and sometimes itchy. Could it be because it some dirt collected around my penis?

What you had could have been a penile lymphocele, which is normally due to rough masturbation, and typically fixes itself after a week or two.

If your penis isn't always like that, then I'd definitely try being more gentle masturbating, and you should probably use lube if you don't already.  It doesn't look like it's anything to do with cleanliness.

If the way it looks now is very different to the way it used to be, and it doesn't fix itself, then I'd definitely see a doctor.

You could either see your GP, or if you're in the UK, you could go to a genitourinary medicine (GUM) clinic - google "GUM clinic near me" for details.

If you could update this thread and tell us what the doctors say, it would be appreciated.  Good luck.

      Thank you for your reply.

Do I have to visit the doctor? As there is no discomfort? I read that only we should visit doctor if we feel discomfort.

However, I have an appointment with my doctor this Monday. Surely I will discuss this with him and update you.

I'd wait to see if it fixes itself, but if it looks different to the way it used to look, and you're seeing your doctor anyway, then I'd definitely mention it.
