I can't classify my symptoms!

Hello. I am a girl of 15 years, and I was having some questions about my current symptoms. About a week ago I had a peculiar expirience. And considering I have a constant cold that never seems to end, I presumed it was that. First, my body became really heavy. Then, I couldn't go to sleep for more than a minute due to the fact that I had constant numbing in my legs and feet, which were really cold. Also, I had a series of nerve pain running through my arms and hands, which were also cold. My legs felt tingly and burning at the same time. It took a while for me to finally get out of bed and walk, for I had to drag my feet for a long time. However, the nerve pain had been there for a few years now. My body felt extremely weak, and my balance was horrible. Past medical history; inflammation on hip, knee surgery. Now, a few time in between, I see that my toes on my right leg have become sore and red. What should I do?

No point at this stage trying to self diagnose.. Just get off to the GP. You already have a small history with surgery, so your doctor is the best one to chat to about it, and he/she will refer you on.
Keep us posted won't you... and take care ... hugs xxxx

You are at a very young and vulnerable age, for symptoms you have described.
Your first port of call should be your Doctor, and request to see a Neurologist - they will probably run a few scans like a MRI and CT scan. The sooner you get these done the better, you are too young to be stuck down by extreme nerve disorders or disabilities.
I know you're at a point where school is important to you, I have a 15 year old daughter myself going through options and exams - but your health at this time in your life should come first and foremost.
I would not want to speculate what it could be, but seeing a Neurologist Consultant is imperative, at your age with the symptoms you have described. If at first you are unsure of a diagnosis, ask for a second opinion from another Neurologist.
Regards,
Les.
