I can't stop panicking now

I just ate a piece of sandwich today and I was pretty hungry, but I decided to just rushly eat and almost choked on the crust of bread, but now I'm worried if it slipped down my throat since it felt like it did slide down and now stuck in the middle of my throat. I also suffer from acid reflux where everytime I eat, it always feel like food is stuck in my esophagus. I'm not sure if I should go to the ER now, I'm so worried to go, I asked if my parents can give me a ride to the ER, but since they know me well enough, they said if I did have the bread stuck and it was in my throat and actually choking me, then I wouldn't be able to talk to them just fine and that the food would be blocking my airways for me to breathe. They are telling me my anxiety is getting the best of me and I'm making it worst as it is, but the feeling like it's still there, does worry me a lot, because of my acid reflux can cause the sensation. Should I listen to my parents or still go to the ER?

listen to your parents.. They are correct. It’s just a sensation that you are feeling and nothing more. this is common in people with anxiety.
