Anxiety causes all kinds of symptoms, flashbacks, negative thoughts. Etc

You feel like your going to die but that's because anxiety causes people to think negatively and have scary thoughts that are out of control.

You would be better off if you got busy and involved in something. Sitting around thinking gives anxiety fuel.

Youll be much happier when you are focused on something positive and fun for you!

Dont waste one more minute worrying about dying.  The fact is that we are all going to die one day, but odds are that you will have a long healthy life so enjoy it. Every day you worry is a day gone forever.  Worrying won't add one more day to your life!!

I think your great grandma would want you to be happy.

    So, get busy and active!

Brilliant reply Jan!!! You are so right!! I was at home for 9 months following job loss and miscarriage - this is when my health anxiety started, I had too much time to think (overthink). Despite stress, anxiety and fear of getting very ill or dying I decided to get a job and go back to work! It's been 7 weeks since I am back to work and that was the best decision I could make! Have a lot of spare time is fuel to your anxiety. Try to fill your day with tasks. But I am also encouraging you to read/listen to as much as you can about the anxiety (how it works, why, do's and dont's). Know we are all in the same boat but overcoming it is possible and is all down to ourselves. Good luck x ?

Great! I'm glad you're doing better. There's nothing worse than sitting around and thinking too much. I would rather work any day then  sit around and worry my life away. Best of luck to you! 😁??🌸

Thanks Jan! It isn't easy but I just gave myself a kick and I suppose more than anything the acceptance of the fact that it is "just" anxiety has helped the most. But yes, I defo needed to take my mind of focusing on how miserable and sick I am. Still long way to go but I'm going the right direction! It's just tough sometimes when I am in pain for no reason really, as if this pain just have to sit somewhere in my body. I am on painkillers every day for the last 3 mnths and that is something I am trying to break now. I was fighting codeine addiction before but I am out of it now TG. But the pains and aches are still present... have you ever had constant pains in your body? If so, how did you deal with it? I have no pain only when I sleep which warrants the fact that they are related to anxiety!
