I cured my Granuloma Annulare

I suffered with Granuloma Annulare 5 years ago.  It started with either small red patches on my feet to pink 'ring-worm' type rings on my arms, legs and groin area.  The rings then then turned into large dark purple coloured particularly on the rear of my thighs and groin area.  The patches located in my groin have actually damaged the skin and the skin is quite wrinkled here.

I saw Doctors and Skin Specialists but no-one was able to provide a cure and the most I was offered was very thick make-up to cover the lesions which I was not intending to use.

I purchased and read 'The Liver and Gallbladder Miracle Cleanse' back to back and found very useful information which i thought might help.  Basically, a number of immune and other problems will manifest a reaction in your intestine and the first area to show a problem will be the skin, therefore the body needs to be reset and flushed out in order for the organs to function correctly.  I also met someone who successfully completed liver cleanses on a monthly basis, this person suggested I also visit a Kinesiologist to understand areas where i might be vitamin and mineral defficient.

I then embarked on a 6 month programme of completing a full cleanse for one week every month.  This basically consisted of following Jason Vale's 7 day detox programme which means you only drink pre-prepared fresh fruit/vegetable juices every day for 7 days.  I started the juice programme on a Saturday until Friday morning, Friday lunchtime I underwent a colonic and followed the Liver and Gallbladder cleanse Friday evening and the following Saturday morning.  Each day during the 6 month period I took up to between 2000-5000 mg Vitamin C, 2000-5000 mg of Vitamin D, MSM, Combination tissue Salt A and D and Molybdenum daily for the entire 6 month period which has been prescribed by the Kinesiologist.

After each cleanse, I felt amazing and my Granuloma reduced in colour each month until it finally disappeared after 6 months and has not reappeared.

During this time I tried to keep my diet as healthy as I could minimising sugar, wheat, meat and alcohol.  I did however, notice that on days I veered off healthy foods and say, drank a few glasses of alcohol, the patches would redden.

This routine may not work for everyone but it certainly worked for me and I now tell everyone I know of the benefits of following that routine.  You also lose weight, feel lighter, far more energised, your skin will start to look amazing and your quality of sleep will improve.  Once you have completed the week long ritual, your body actually craves healthy food over processed.

I was so desperate to be rid of the awful lesions I happily stuck to the rigid process every month.  I can now happily wear shorts, bikinis, skirts, short sleeved tops.

After going through a rather stressful 2 years I have decided to follow the routine again for a couple of months just to give myself an energy boost.

I hope my experience helps someone else who is desperate to remove this awful affliction.

    Hi Debbie,

Thank you for posting your story and progress. Mine is exactly like yours...started on my feet and then over the last 2 years on the backs of my thighs, and around groin and hips. I've noticed this summer it has gotten worse. I am T1 diabetic and I do drink more alcohol in the summer. I'm going to order that book and embark on your system. It makes perfect sense!

    Hi Debbie,

I'm so heartened to hear that you worked out what the underlying problem was and that you were able to beat GA.

Did you say that you also did a colonic irrigation once a month too, just wanted clarify your statement.

    Thanks

      Hello Gaynor

I would suggest visiting a Kinesiology therapist to find out what your body is deficient in first and take the supplements every month.

I followed a 7 day juicing detox which I started on a Saturday and finished on a Friday.  Friday lunchtime I underwent a colonic followed by a liver cleanse and I repeated this process every month for a week.  The liver cleanse involves drinking Epson salts and water followed by a final olive oil and grapefruit mixture.  You can find information on the internet about the specifics of a cleanse.

All three combined together completely detox the body and each month my GA became less inflamed until it disappeared altogether.  The colonic is necessary before a liver cleanse to ensure the colon is completely clear of any waste that could trap stones removed from the liver during the cleanse.  The liver cleanse might make you feel quite nauseous which is perfectly normal, it is the body cleansing itself of toxins.  You could increase the effectiveness of the liver cleanse by taking a bath in Epson salts too.

Please let me know if you need further information.

Hello ladies, i have GA for ~7y. It stated with a ring aroundmy left ankle, then 1 on my right arm. Took a while to discover what it was. My dermatologist gave me cortison cream and my GA spread like crazy on my arms and legs and have more and more. I have tried apo-hydroxychlorine and UV, nothing worked. I was wondering if it can be food related. Tried a little gluten free diet but no real success. I was wondering if avoiding coffee and milk could be a solution. Do you know if GA could be related to food "allergy" or "intolerance"? I will definitey hae a look aout liver cleanser. Thanks.

    Hello Debbie

I too have been diagnosed w/ GA and it is driving me CRAZY!   Started on my hands, now on elbows and has spread on both thighs and torso.   I have tried everything and was told by a dermatologist that it is not curable and has a lot to do with my Hashimoto Thyroid diagnosis.

I am going to try your suggested remedy and see what happens.

    Thanks for posting.

I've had GA for more than 12 years and have tried almost everything available and nothing working until this year. I had some cortisone injections (kenalog-40) into my knee and for my rotator cuff, shortly after I began to notice the lesions were disappearing and they did for about five months then they started to reappear; the moral of the story is that if the injection was done into the area where the GA was the effect would be different. I'm seeing my Dermatologist in November and will question it.
