I am post menopause now. 3 months ago after 2.5 years of no period and lots of drama with peri like severe anxiety and burping and panic attack, I became period again. Yes i was bleeding. Went to gynocologist and he took me to day surgery to take sample. Could not find any abnormality and took my IUD out. I was sure it was a period all the symptoms was like a period. After that my anxiety started again. Last month i got sinus infection doctor gave me antibiotic after finishing anribiotic i start to get Panic attack pretty much all day and night. How can i describe it. It likes somebody squeezing my head and body between concretes and after 15 minutes leave my exhausted body in the street. Burping like nervous burp. But feeling doom and gloom does not leave me alone. I walk and go swim everyday helps for couple of hours but when i eat my meal for example my panic attack comes back and shakes me in head and body and send this electectric shocks to my head, face and body with dizziness in morning. When to Gp last week and gave me anti axiety Serepox. I can not take it during the day because i need to drive and get of the house. In night i am not sure help me or not. I have all sort of nasty thought to end everything. My husband is away for work but will be back in couple of day. Ican not tell my son how do i feel because it is his last year of high school and he is very busy with exam. Please advice me.

Hi Pat.....i hear you and fully understand....i suffer with chronic burping at times and have horrid tummy issues that resulted in me getting a camera down my tummy to find nothing wrong...the anxiety attacks were awful and how you descibe it with electic shocks through your body is how i too felt....but Pat many others feel the same and know that you are not alone and it does ease with time ...it seems like you are in the throws of it and experiencing alot of the symtoms together...(google the 66 symptoms of menapause - a post from this site)... Hang tight and when you are by yourself, reach out through here or to somone close if scared....it is very debilitating and ladies here are going through it too.....hang tight....your body is transitioning and our minds readjusting to it all while trying to cope....lots of love to you there❤ CK

    Hello pat

Sorry to hear you are feeling so bad at the moment. It certainly could be related to hormones, it sounds similar to my experiences, and the lovely ladies on the forum. It sounds like it's made worse by the fact you're on your own at the moment. I think you need to go back to your doctor and tell him about the dark thoughts, you are not alone pat but I think you need to speak to someone to get some support. Stay strong xx

Hi Pat, yes awful awful symptoms just like that when I was hit out of nowhere with it, exactly everything you just said I had too, and it lasted about 6 straight months , then symptoms eased up a bit and begin to then cycle themselves monthly.. At least I would get some type of relief for about a week, and then bam symptoms back, then gone for a week then back.. Its a rollercoaster of pure hell , and super bad when they first start... Omg the panic and the anxiety, and feels like your scared and you can't drive or be alone, or go to store, its terrible but does ease up to where its not so so bad after a while... I would clean up my diet, no caffeine no alcohol no wine, no processed foods, eat salads and lean meats if your a meat eater, eat veggies fruits eggs olive oils seeds nuts, and cook everything, I would walk, exercise do yoga and look up meditation videos on internet, and get familiar with them they help calm you, do things to try and burn off the anxiety and panic.. Stay busy, and when really down and crying and bad doomy thoughts do something after a good cry to get your mind off of it, get up brush yourself off, and watch a good movie, Funny one, nothing sad, or do a project you love of some kind, crossword puzzles, anything , and take it all one day at a time until it all eases up for you.. Its not easy but you can get through.. We've all gone thru and are going thru this right now and are sharing all of our own symptoms , and it helps so much to be able to reach out and share it all with each other who totally get it..nasty Symptoms will ease in time.. Stay strong, your in the storm, sunny days are ahead.. 😄

    Hello pat

Please don't worry, everything will be okay. This is temporary, so try not to be put off by the thought of seeing a psychiatrist and just think of it as a doctor and additional support.... Just a specialist in the field. Try to relax and maybe do some deep breathing exercises, or listen to some music xxx

Hi pat.  I do understand.  Today was one of those put one foot in front of the other days.  My youngest is also in highschool and it’s hard trying to keep it all together...especially when my husband is away at work too.  Please don’t be afraid to see a psychiatrist.  They can give you something to help.  Not getting enough sleep makes all the other symptoms worse.  When I get like that, all I am able to do is watch funny old tv shows.
