I saw some bumps on the inside of my vagina yesterday after taking a shower and drying down there and am going crazy trying to figure out what it is. Ive been researching everything and want to cry knowing that it's either or. I don't know how I would even tell my boyfriend once I'm diagnosed. I have an appointment on Tuesday to get checked. I'm so scared. I included a picture to see if you guys could figure out whether it was Herpes or HPV Warts. Please help me. I'm so scared.

The papillae are benign and considered to be normal anatomy, so they don’t need to be treated. When you have vestibular papillomatosis, the main problem is that you may not be properly diagnosed. If your doctor misdiagnoses it as genital warts, you may undergo unnecessary tests and treatments. This can lead to unnecessary worry and expense.
If the bumps bother you a lot or interfere with sexual intercourse, your doctor can remove them with a simple procedure, but they sometimes just come back.
The most important things to remember if you’re diagnosed with vestibular papillomatosis are:
It’s benign and isn’t and won’t turn into cancer.
It isn’t an STD, so it can’t be picked up or passed on during sex.

This might be Leukorrhea, have you had any sexual contact with anyone? If so Leukorrhea is a sign of pregnancy. If you've had any contact sexually with anyone then this might be the case.

OR this could be a vaginal infection, same name, Leukorrhea, but, it is not always a pregnancy issue and just an infection.

I know this is a really old post but I have the exact same thing and I'm freaking out... Mine looks nothing like an STD and it looks exactly like yours... it's in my insides and I didn't notice it until I started getting really itchy... it's not sore but I have notice that more have grown more... At first I thought it was a PPP but they are not meant to be itchy. I think everytime I have sex is when I get more... This is scaring the living daylights out of me... I'm only young and my mum still comes to the doctors with me... I'm just wondering if anyone has had this and has also been itchy?

if you are at all worried or this is abnormal for you, you seriously need to get it checked by a dr. or you can go to a local GUI clinic where they will treat you anonymously. If your mum goes with you then you are going to have to tell her the truth. i would understand if it was my teenage daughter. However, sorry to sound like an old fuddy duddy but if you are young enough for your mum to go in with you when you see the dr, then are you old enough to be having sex? How old are you? By 16 I should think you are mature enough to go into the dr in your own.

This is Vestibular Papillomatosis. Or just papals.
