Hey guys so recently I started to feel weird. For example I have been getting muscle twitches all around my body that come and go randomly, my vision sometimes feel "trippy", my hands also shake sometimes, and just today I have a random chest pain. All of my symptoms worry me. All of the symptoms I have I constantly looks up on the internet. Because of this I constantly check my weight, check if i can pick stuff up, check how I walk, and check how I swallow my food. My friend and cousin told me that I'm a hypochondriac. I haven't been to the doctors to check this up because I'm sort of worried. Thank you.

Hi
muscle twitching is a very common symptom of anxiety.
I had that in my twenties for a very long time, due to anxiety. I still have them occasionally when I am anxious and just ignore it.
Shakiness, vision changes and chest pain can also occur. I have had them all plus more. Millions of People get the symptoms from anxiety and stress.
when your brain is over anxious the energy comes out as symptoms.
Any symptom related to anxiety cannot hurt you. They feel weird and scary but that's all they can do. they started in my 20s and I'm now in my 50s and I'm still here!!
DO NOT Google your symptoms!
TheyI do not pertain to your particular individual situation. You are just terrifying you're self for no reason. AND that's will cause your brain more anxiety, hence more symptoms!
you need to calm down your mind to reduce symptoms.
The worst thing you can do is sit around and think about all of this because everything will get worse. I know from years of experience.
I relax my mind by listening to meditations on YouTube for anxiety. They completely calm my mind and body down in my symptoms diminish greatly or go away.
I do this a couple times a day especially when I'm laying down to sleep. Using earbuds for a better effect.
they have meditations for anxiety, sleep, depression, anything you want.
start with one called mindful meditation for relaxation by Glenn.
Another one that is important to listen to is called a 10 minute breathing meditation.
do an experiment. Listen to these meditations as often as possible and if you noticed that you were more relaxed when listening to them then you know it's all anxiety related .
One thing I learned is that we cannot let fear and negative thinking take us over. We are in control. When you get a negative or scary thought, calmly acknowledge it for a few seconds then imagine it floating off and dissolving. Do this every time you have a negative thought.
sometimes anxiety is difficult to overcome on our own. If you're having a really hard time speak with a counselor who specializes in anxiety. They can really help you.
try not to take life too seriously. Be good to yourself. Do things you enjoy. Go for a walk in nature. Don't forget to smile and laugh even if you have symptoms. All these things to make positive changes in the brain.
For peace of mind, visit your doctor to discuss the symptoms.
You will be fine. stay positive .??

Hi thank you for replying. Thanks for all the advise I'll try to look up some of those meditations. I'm 16 by the way and just in the past 2 days I've noticed that I've been waking up in the middle of the night around like 5 for no reason and just going back to sleep like 20 minutes later
