Good Morning Everyone I am very certain you all must feel sick of reading my messages but I am sorry I cant help it. I have now enter a very depressive state because I have now actually gone about 3 months and my stools are not improving they remain the same. Every food I eat is been rejected. I have loss considerable weight and each time I go and see the doctors they keep saying the same thing that it is not PANCREATIC CANCER. I am praying that it is not but the longer my stools do not form it make me fear the worst. I had CT scan in March i also had an Endocospy both showed no signgs of cancer. However I honestly cannot understand why the Creon is not working on me. This makes me fear the worst. I would like to hear anyone's views please on my problem I know I have been adviced to eat porridge which I am doing but my stools are not improving.

    Hi, Lawrence,

Do not be sorry for posting alot that is why we are all here to support one another. To maybe gie you some reasurance I also can not take creion. I am on no Enzyme therepy. And I have stone calcification. Some people just have trouble with the enzymes. I personally throw up and hurt worse. I too can not digest many foods and it varies from day to day. Don't give up though. I have had CP 15 years I am 40 just turned a few months ago. I have the same symptoms as you. I don't have cancer. Thank goodness. CP is enough..... I hope I ease your mind in letting you know you are not the only one that has that problem.

I take grape seed, milk thistle, probiotics, vitamin C, Vitamins B, Vitamin D, a protien drink. it helps... main thing I can tell you is low fat diet is an absolute must!! Lots of water. No alcohol. I use heating pads and ice. I am on tramadol it is not nearly strong enough but, I don't like being loopy... You will have hard times with CP and moments you almost feel normal. That's where I went wrond I had two months I felt great so I went off my strict diet and am paying dearly for it now. I know that I will get back on track and be ok. So will you!! Keep fighting don't give up there are better days a head. i too lost lots of weight a few years back getting down below 100 pounds. Keep your head up. CP is not a death sentence ..think of it as a necessary life syle change.. Good luck!!

      Robert,

If you have Jaundice you need medical care. I hope you have a GI doctor. Also I have RA some of what you are decribing sounds like that. Have you had your RA factor tested? Also Have you been Diagnosed with CP? And if so how are they helping you?? Wishing you the very best!

Robert I hope you check with your GP and ask him to refer you to a specialist before to make any rash decisions. Also have you been diagnosed with CP or you feel you have CP? which are two diffrent things in the sense one is factual and other is speculative. Robert i hope you are okay and if you have any concerns do not hesitate to express them on this board because you have very supportive members here. Best of luck

Lawrence, not sure how your stools are looking because I am new to this forum and have not seen your previous post, but when my dad had cancer his stools were  very black and  very tarry looking and very thin like a pencil, I do believe that is a sign of cancer when your stools are very black and thin that, obviously lots of blood in it which was causing the blackness?? Hope you find some comfort soon in what you are experiencing..
