i got my results back and i have gential herpes , i was raped ... i dont know what to do anymore . i dont feel like living anymore . i wont have kids . or experince a love life anymore

lots and lots of people have a completely normal and healthy love life with herpes, i can promise you that! and there is life post rape, i can assure you i have been there. please stay strong and reach out to the people around you for support, you can and WILL move past this !!

As ge34667 has said, you have everything to live for still. Herpes is just one obstical that you will learn to deal with.
You can still have children and you can still have relationships, you just may need abit of time to come to terms with things.
Iv had a very bad time the last year, I thought my life was over, I almost killed myself on a few occasions but life goes on and speaking to people is the best way to feel better as you realize there are many other people in the same boat.

it will be okay and you will feel better about it, but it does take time. i have been positive with herpes for 5 years and i used to feel exactly like u. keep your head up and let me know if u want to chat... private message me.

im sorry to hear you were raped, and that a heartbreaking thing!!!!!, but do not feel like you cannot lead a normal live you absolutely can, i have lived with herpes for the last 12 years and its hard, dont get me wrong but we have to get on with it, drop me a private message if you feel you cant discuss openly and i can share some tips with you. Dont give up, lots of us here to support each other.

hi first off I want to say I'm soooo soo soo sorry , I've been talked twice and its horrible thats actually were I got my herpes from BUT if you don't mind me asking how do you know they it was genital unless u had a swab or positive for hsv2 theres no way of knowing where it's located
