do you have a history of having anxiety?

anxiety has a way of allowing  and creating negative thoughts in your mind .

? keep in mind that the scary thoughts about dying are completely based on fear and not actual fact. There is a thing called mindfulness  that teaches you how to separate negative thoughts and fear from yourself and give you peace of mind. One thing they teach is that when you have a negative or scary thought such as your thought about dying, don't try to fight it off because it will get worse. What you do is in a relaxed way, acknowledge the thought  for a few seconds. You be the observer of the thought. That thought is not a part of you it is completely separate even though it proceeds from you. After you observed it, picture it floating off and dissolving.

thoughts are fleeting. They come and go all day long but they do not have to stay with you. You are the one in control. But never react with anxiety when you get those thoughts even if they are scary. You will give them power if you do that.

when you react with fear and anxiety you're choosing to give power to the anxiety and symptoms.

The odds are greatly in your favor that you do not have a heart problem and that you will live a nice long life and enjoy your family. You must believe that. Even if you get a racing heart with anxiety it will not hurt you.

Of course I always recommend people follow up with their doctors just to have things checked out.  Have your doctor check out the chest pain which is most likely due to anxiety but just to be on the safe side. That will give you peace of mind.

there are great audio meditations on YouTube for anxiety. But one I highly recommend you start with is very important to learn when you're feeling like this. It is called "mindfulness  breathing guided meditation 10 minutes" this helps your breathing to become more regular and keep you focused on the present moment. Anytime you begin to feel anxious you can do this wherever you want  once you learn it.  There are many to choose from on YouTube just pick the ones you like.

Other meditations cover anxiety, depression, sleep, Anything  you want. These meditations completely relax my mind and body and symptoms. You see, the symptoms are not the problem. The problem is that most people don't know how to manage their anxiety and that is what causes the symptoms.

The symptoms are your body's way of telling you that  you are under too much stress.

there is a book with the title mindfulness that is definitely worth reading and many people on this site are reading it. It is a white book with a ball of string on the cover. It gives you a new perspective and anxiety and how to deal with it.

     remember,

-you need to keep an attitude of "I am OK. I can handle this. This will pass"

    - observe the negative and scary thoughts and then let them go in a calm way

    - make it a priority to listen to the breathing meditation. They also have meditations for panic, anxiety etc.

    - I highly recommend you also listening to a meditation called "detachment from overthinking" use earbuds if you have them

    - I also recommend you listen to positive self affirmations on YouTube. They are really helpful .  More you listen the more you're brain believe them to be true.

    - remember that your thoughts are not a part of you and you can let them go .  Do not give them permission to take up any more space in your head

    - do things that make you smile and laugh such as enjoying your family, laughing with your children. The minute a negative thought enters your mind remember to observe and let go

    - if you are  really struggling, speak with a counselor who can help.

I just wanted to tell you that are used to do the same thing when I was raising my kids. I always thought I was going to die. I really wasted a lot of years doing that and nothing bad ever happened! I can never get those years back so please don't do this to yourself and your family.  enjoy every single day!  it's too short to waste on fear and negativity and believe me it goes by very fast!

Take charge and everything is going to work out for you. 🌸🌸🌸🌸
