    What dosage are you on?

when you increase you start the clock again. so you are technically on day 12 of 50mg. it's way too early to expect a positive change so early in. the first couple of weeks are gonna be worse. stick with it

While I am not trying to discourage you from taking sertraline because I know it is extremely helpful for most people, myself included, I have had that severely detached feeling from an antidepressant! I tried celexa last November and took for almost 9 months at a starting 10mg to 20mg and never lost that detatched feeling, while the panic attacks ended up going, I still felt so numb and detatched that it was not worth the small benefit that it provided. I have been off of it for a total of almost 3 weeks now and I can say that feeling is almost completely gone now so I can only assume that it was caused by the celexa. In the past when I had taken sertraline that never happened. Not every antidepressant is for everyone. Might need a change. I would stick with it just a little longer but if that detatched symptom doesn't seem to go I would speak to your physician about possibly switching. Either way, don't get discouraged if one didn't work for you, you will find the right one and relief will come. 😃

I am going back on Sertraline, I wanted to give myself a little while to clear my system.
