Hi, I have been going through the same things. It is terrible. Sage herbal tea can help with how you are feeling and the Ladycare magnet from Boots Chemist will also help, but you have to give them about three months before you see any real benefits from them. Hope this helps, stay strong and keep reminding yourself that it won't go on forever. Take care.

Thank you for posting this, and thanks to all that replied. I just had myself convinced Im dying of some unknown horrible fatal disease that my Dr's are missing!! I have had very test known to man and all are normal, with the exception of estrogen, progesterone, testosterone, and dhea. Numerous Dr's have told me its menopause causing all my issues but its just hard to fathom it could be this severe. I feel like most of your post is identical to my experiences. Thank you for the reassurance!! I swear I was a sane productive citizen all of my life until they removed my ovary, now Im hanging by a thread to hold onto my sanity!! Thanks again Ladies!!! I needed this tonight! 😃

I have not tried patches but a month ago I started HRT tablets. I am taking elleste duet HRT. Within 2 days of starting the tablets my hot flushes subsided and I noticed I was feeling a lot better.

One month in, my insomnia has gone, I am getting so much sleep. I've not had any night sweats, I was getting them every night before, and hot flushes which I was getting throughout the day have gone completely. My doc said it was take weeks before I started to feel better so I was surprised I noticed an improvement almost immediately. I'm on 1mg tablets. I'm 44, this all started at 42 and I've tried all sorts of supplements, HRT is the only thing that has helped me. I think it has given me my life back, my mood has improved a lot because I no longer feel constantly terrible xx

My doctor offered me patches or tablets, said it was up to me. When i asked if one was better than the other he said theyre both the same its just preference. I did contemplate patches as I've seen so many ladies say they are better absorbed but I opted for tablets. I take one tablet every day at the same time of day, so far so good!

Good luck, I hope you start to feel better soon x

so good to know I'm not alone. symptoms are hot flashes, bloating, gassy, upset stomach, anxiety, fear, depression, and just plain feeling icky. I'm on estradiol and take natural progesterone supplement (when I remember) also having to take something for anxiety, tried ssri but ended up in er after 2 doses, I had bad reaction and doctor said not to take it anymore. anybody have suggestions on what to do when that icky feeling comes on all of a sudden and then won't leave you alone? so tired of feeling this way. I had hysterectomy in 2004 at age 39, kept left ovary, which is no longer working. been having symptoms since 2014, started w hot flashes, but in 2018 it's like the gates of all symptoms opened up! appreciate any advice, thanks

I take magnesium for my palpitations and L Theanine for my anxiety, 100mg 2x per day but I still have days where nothing helps, I just try to ride it out it seems like i'm doing that a lot though because some days the anxiety is through the roof.

so i just turned 39... few months ago (before i turned 39) i went to the dr, my period was a few days late (i am never that late).... so i had a pap smear (was due) it was clean... she did some tests Full blood count, diabetes, thyroid, all clean.... so happy camper moved along.. then i found something in my breast (a rope like lump) dr said it was nothing but of the a mammogram i went... Turns out it was just some fat .. so after the all clear on my tests, pap smear and sonar i went on my merry little way... Till yesterday, i had a soda and after the first few gulps i started feeling weird.. Like my heart was beating out of control, so i checked my heart rate on my watch 71bpm I manually checked it 71 bpm... Then my stomach started to feel weird, like i want to go, but nothing happen..... THEN I STARTED TO BURP for nothing. Went to bed with my stomach feeling weird and to top it all lower back pain (not pain just like a dull pain) Woke up this morning and started to burp (i mean what da heck?) what the actual heck is wrong with me? I do not feel my self but all my test show that i am myself.. could i be standing infront of the premeno door?

      Hi Annelies

Sorry you are feeling this way. ..looking back i can remember start feeling weird at times when i was your age. By the time i turned 42 ive already been to so many drs and test after test for the next 5 years...just have your hormones checked to see if they can tell..my advise, stay away from sodas, coffee, sugar, bread and alcohol..i know sucks!!!

      Feel better xxxxx

You are awfully young but all of my symptoms that started this past year sound almost exactly like yours. Have you been checked for anything else? Like your digestive tract?

mine started at 39. I was 2 weeks late, then finally got it. Since then it was off and on, missing months at a time. I had been having terrible periods off and on for several years with terrible abdominal pain, then I had a terrible couple of years recently and the beginning of last year was the worst. I had terrible abdominal pain with nausea and heartburn with erratic periods. I had several violently painful periods where I literally went to the ER because I felt as if something was really wrong, only to be told they could find nothing wrong except elevated platelets. I had several months like this off and on, then my periods suddenly stopped in September of last year. I am now 47, no period for 7 cycles now. I am feeling better, but get a little heartburn and nausea from time to time, with some aches and pains. I am praying I am almost beyond it now. Lately I have had heart palpitations around the time my period would normally begin. They are scary sometimes. 😦 Praying you feel better soon! STAY STRONG! 😃
