hello all its been awhile since i posted. i have read a lot of posts and they all describe what i have dealt with or still dealing with. THANKFULLY the anxiety is no where near as bad the latest is my appetite is changing, and im getting headaches. But im learning how to battle the hormones with better eating drinking water and exercise. Hang in there it will pass. I have a close friend who is going through the driving part not being able to drive. And to mention ive only had one menstraul cycle this year so maybe im going into full menopause its been rough but im getting through it. AND REMEBER TO PRAY

Yep, all of a sudden I had severe shoulder pain. I'd be in the store with my purse hanging on my shoulder and I could no longer bare to have it hang on me. I had no idea what was going on. This went on and off for about 2 years. I went to my primary who just stated I was low on D3 and prescribed that. I think it was about a year or two later when I started first having Peri symptoms and I had no idea what that was at that time. Again ran to primary who said depression and anxiety but, it was peri. I had severe neck pain and took it upon myself to go to a chiropractor for relief. The pain after 20 or so visits all traveled down from my neck to my right forearm. Then I just read carpal tunnel can occur during menopause. REALLY!!! Ugh ..... I had no idea what was wrong but, it was all peri symptoms. You really have to diagnose yourself because no one talks about it or suggests it such as doctors, the hospital, therapists. I think that's how they make money by staying quiet. First question should be HOW OLD ARE YOU and go from there. It's really quiet simple it's so upsetting so many suffer.

Dear bev, Thank you for mentioning MNDD. I didn't know there was a terms as such. I knew about PMS but not this one. I just searched MNDD. OMG, I have %95 of the sysmptoms. If this is a medical term and scientific finding why can't DRs do something about it and help us!? It is so SAD. Best wishes

Be careful with anti depressants. They can make symptoms worse.

I'm so sorry, Kim.
you are in the right place! 9 years ago I was feeling scared, sick, confused and going from one dr to another..till I found all these ladies in here feeling the same as me..I wish I could tell you it will be over soon but it's been 9 years that I'm going through this...it gets somewhat easier, guess you start getting used to this nightmare but still waiting to be over!! for me the anxiety and the body aches are the worst. For a week now dealing with my hands feeling achy and stiff..of course my dr sending me to rheumatologist. Also I end up in the ER with chest tightness of course they did all tests 3 EKG's, xrays , heart enzymes check, everything came back normal but I just found out that means nothing!! so my dr wants me to have a ct scan of heart and arteries..I'm so upset!! it doesn't end! watch your sugar intake that helps alot as well minimize your coffee intake! I'm up like you all night!! if I get 4 hours sleep I'm lucky!
feel better xxxxxx

I am 46. I have the regular peri symptoms; hot flashes, memory loss/forgetfulness, mood swings, etc, etc. I had a major migraine last month that lasted for 3 days. Ever since then, I've been feeling off balance. It seems that so many of us are experiencing this, but has anybody found anything to get rid of it? Please don't tell me time!! I hate that answer.

Hello Lydia,
I'm 54 now and it all started when i was your age. Excedrin Migrain is a must. when you feel it comming take 2! the worse they get the longer they can last. i know they hurt do bad. i also found all my symptoms are better with good nutrition and excercise. vitamins! mutli. D and B i swear by. nothing else i tried helped. hrt made it all worse. but after a bad headache always felt a little off balance too.
I hope you feel better soon. !
