i feel pain near the left kidney

Posted , 4 users are following.

i am 18 male

i am feeling so much pain on my left side of my abdomen and on the kidney.

i used to have kidney stones in both my kidneys for many years and i took medicines and it's alright now. but this pain is not like that pain. pain started from my lower back and goes on to the bottom of my left leg when i walk.

when i masturbate or especially pee, it starts to pain more and more. just when i am relaxing my lower body then it stops to pain.

i am feeling like I've gotten a kidney infection or failure.help!

    Hi Chet,

I'm not a doctor and so can't (and won't) give you medical advice. But I would encourage you to see your physician so he or she can run some labs.

I would expect your doctor will have a renal panel run to check out your overall renal function (i.e., creatinine level, eGFR, BUN, potassium, phosphorous, calcium, and sodium levels). Your doctor will likely also order a urine sample analysis to check for protein levels, blood in your urine, and E. coli or other bacterium.

You may have a kidney infection. The urine sample analysis will confirm whether that is the case or not.

Regardless, you should see your doctor as soon as possible to learn what is going on and get it under appropriate treatment.

    Best wishes,

    Marj

Low back pain radiating to leg and or groin area sounds like sciatia

Pain on pee and masterbating could well be an STD

    See your GP/DR

    Good luck

    Hi

I am not a doctor, but i would recommend for you to do serum creatineine test and urine culture report. Based on creatinine level you can calculate eGFR using online calculator. https://www.davita.com/gfr-calculator/#stage2ckd

I strongly suspect this is a urine infection, and it can be ruled out from urine culture test, and if creatinine is high doctor will do more test. But hopefully it will not be the case in your case.

    Thank you
