I first noticed i had prickly heat when i was in mexico three years ago. Whilst i was there i had to use cold flannels at night to cool my skin as i had no products to help ease it. I got prickly heat quite servere on my chest and arms. Like a lot of people i went to my doctor before my next holiday to egypt who told me to stay out of the sun and use factor 30 with antihistamines 2 weeks before my holiday. I had heard of the steroid injection but didn't like the side effects.

Antihistamines didn't work, then i found out from a friend of a friend that i should try organic sunlotion. I was willing to give it a go, when i was in mexico i was wearing the normal waterproof sunlotion which was clearly blocking my pores. During our british summer i tried it out the organic lotion and had no prickly heat. But i didn't get my hopes up too much.

In January i went to the Maldives, i took no antihistamines just my organic sunlotion which has extracts of aloe vera, edelweiss, green tea and avocado. These are all natural ingrediants. We burnt on the second day with the wind so i thought i would be in trouble!

But no, I had a gorgeous prickly heat free holiday. I took factor 15 and 8, i mainly used 8 as i'm olive skinned. I applied it often and used the aftersun. Which is FANTASTIC.

so sorry for late reply been away. the product can be bought from greenpeople.co.uk. I also used the shower pink clay and deo during the day on the beach to totally clean my pores. i put the lotion on before my flight landed as you are meant to apply 30 min before exposure. hope this helps, the products are pricy but worth every single penny x
