I'm 32 years old healthy woman. It's a 2-3 weeks I found a wound or red-gray stain in my belly button. I tried to clean it with hydrogen peroxide or 70% alcohol and use first aid triple antibiotic ointment. But, it started to go worse, so I went to my family doctor and he said it is a infection and gave me Bacitracin ointment (500 units, use 2 times a day) and cefalexin 500 (2 capsule per day for 5 days). 10 days past and I think the wound growth and there is not any healing. I went to the doctor again and he said it seems to be better, but I believe it's not. It start to discharge and I saw pink stain on my cloth yesterday. I attached 2 photos, one from 2 weeks ago a another from today. There is some red rashes around my belly button in newest image (from today). It wasn't an itchy wound, but when I use Bacitracin it causes itching around my belly button. I tried to get an appointment for dermatologist, but all Drs schedules are full and so difficult to find a free appointment time for a next few days.

Please help me, what should I do? any idea what is this wound or infection?

You definitely need a Dermatologist asap , that dark area should be investigated.

Why is it difficult to see a Dr ? Where are you , a small town with very few docs?
