I found cypralex to be very effective in treating panic attacks, at first I was slightly alarmed at some of the side effects, they made me more anxious to start, I soon got used to it and after a few weeks they soon worked for me. I am off them now and I no longer fear panic attacks at all. I would just like to mention that the use of co codamol and paracetamol seemed to stop cypralex from working for a few hours, even though I used them only occasionally, I feel that painkillers can have a negative effect on antidepressants, actually causing depressive feelings to return, I would advise patients to be cautious with their use.

I am so glad that it has worked for you. I just wondered if you put on any weight with this medication as this is a bit of an issue for me? I look forward to your reply.

Sounds strange but the only side effect i get is excessive yawning! For about 2 hours after a take them... How bizzare... thought i was just tired all the time but i wasn't, i was just yawning and yawning all the time-very frustrating...

Helped with panic attacks but my physical effects from anxiety are now being treated with Doseulepin-only just started this though so nothing to report...
