I get my cast tomrrow after Trimalleolar surgery!

I had surgery August 15th and tomrrow I have a follow up appointment to get my stitches out and hopefully in a cast!! I hope my transition from a splint to a cast is a smooth one! Wish me luck..going to take pain meds for that 90 degree for casting! Fingers crossed all will be well!🤗😊

    Yeah...I remember it well....twice in 2 days, then twice more over 10 weeks...Good luck with that fella !

    Your actually scared of hurting something in your foot / ankle, it has to be done, the main thing is to "try" to relax, the nurses pushing your foot into position does the rest while 2nd nurse does cast, it takes 2 / 3 minutes of pain and fear. You will be fine.

    Good luck!!!!! Definitely take the pain meds before you go. 

    I had my surgery on 16th, got my cast this past Friday on the 31st, but couldn’t do the 90 degree angle. The pain was unbearable, they will try again on 9/14.

      I got my cast on the August 30th. I took the pain meds before the cast. It's been 5 days now. Have ups and downs with it but hanging in there. Just a lot of elevating and ice. Good luck.
