I get sparkles of light when I see bright object and then look away which lasts for few seconds

I am noticing this from past few days and my observation is I always get sparkles of light when I see a bright object and it goes away after few minutes / seconds for example if anyone takes my photo is get flashes for few minutes which looks like tiny sparkles of light. Can anyone tell me what it is.
