I got a cut on my penis

While masturbating, i accidentally got a cut on my penis and it started bleeding. It was bleeding a lot but i cleaned it and now the bleeding has stopped. But i am really afraid that it might get infected. After cleaning i saw where the cut was..it was on the backside under the forehead of the penis head..i think some sking got detached. I am really tensed. please someone guide me.

    That area will always look like it's bleeding a lot, so don't worry about that side of things at all.

    Risk of infection? Any broken skin area can be liable to infection, however if you maintain good food hygiene this shouldn't be an issue for you.

    Bathe the area every day to ensure cleanliness and if you can just wipe down with water after a pee.

    Don't worry needlessly ok.

      Thanks a lot. I think you helped me a lot. But i am still worried if something bad happens to that particular area. Because now that particular skin is kinda hanging..its really small, but scary. What will happen to that particular skin which got detached?

      And it was actually bleeding a lot..like blood was dripping..and still..if i kinda clean that are..little amount of blood oozes out!

    It will heal if you just keep putting some neosporin on it and don't touch it for a while. The neosporin or triple antibiotic ointment will help it heal faster and keep it from stinging so much. If you get water on it in the shower it will sting like heck so don't do that keep the ointment on it and you will see it will be better soon. Next time use a lubricant that is designed for use in the body.

      Hmm..thanks i actually applied some petroleum jelly to it..that made me feel better too. But anyways..i'll try this out also..thanks

      Petroleum jelly won't help and could make things worse. It has no anti bacterial properties and whist it acts as a barrier to stop things getting in it also "locks" any germ / bacteria under the layer of jelly.

      Like I said that area can look really bad when bleeding but the actual amount of blood is tiny in comparison to the other 8 pints in your body.

      Seriously don't worry, keep it clean and it'll heal for you
