I GOT MRSA FROM A SURGERY THAT I HAD IN APRIL OF 2004, BUT IT WASN'T FOUND UNTIL JUNE OF 2004. IT WAS VERY HARD OUTCOME TO DEAL WITH. I WAS HOSPITALIZED FOR IT FOR ABOUT FOUR DAYS AND THEN SENT HOME WITH A PIC LINE IN MY ARM FOR TWO AND A HALF MONTHS WHERE I GAVE MYSELF THE INTRAVENUS ANTIBIOTIC TWICE A DAY EVERY DAY. I HAD A NURSE COME OUT TO MY HOME TWICE A WEEK FOR THE TWO AND A HALF MONTHS TO TAKE BLOOD WORK. IT WAS VERY HARD ON MY WHOLE FAMILY. I'M STILL EFFECTED EMOTIONALLY BY GETTING MRSA AND I HAD TO LOSE MY BREAST IMPLANTS FROM IT AS WELL. I'M SCARED EMOTIONALY AND PHYSICALLY NOW.
