Which Consultant did you see in order to be taken seriously?. I have had cervical spondylosis (diagnosed 1985) and spinal spondylosis and spina bifida occulta (diagnosed 1983) for many years. I was a State Registered Nurse. The pain and incapacity I am now experiencing is unbelievable, if I was an animal I would not be left to suffer in this way. No one doubts the severity of my pain, I am now on extremely strong opiates several times a day. They do not relieve the, pain nor did the Consultant in the pain clinic expect them too.

Try paramol , acupuncture cupping & tens machine if you have chronic utis out of control up the medication . My pain is temporary episodic if chronic would be committing suicides as get near paralysis too. How are you doing now?

I saw a neurologist a few days ago who said that because of the severity of my cervical spondylosis (sever neck pain, headaches, numb fingers and toes, weakness in limbs, dizziniess, bladder weakness etc etc) He is going to recomend me for immediate surgery. I'm quite relieved that something is going to be done but I'm worried about the risks of surgery, recovery rate and whether it will all come back. I am 60 years old. I was wondering whether anyone else has been through this and had any advice
