Not sure about the diarrhea but I was in agony for a week. Some endoscopists are rough. It will pass, don't worry too much, plus I'm sure I've read of other people with post colonoscopy diarrhea. If you are worried could you phone your endoscopy department? They are usually really helpful.

The diorhea could be because the prep is so harsh. I would definitely give the hospital a call and tell them. The after care should be pretty good..

    Good luck

My GP told me that laxetive stuff is equivalnt to Domestos as its so strong. I had paid and diarrhea for over two weeks. If you have a lot of pain go back to your GP incase they caused a tear in your colon. Do you have any Blood in your diarrhea?

    My hospital was useless.

Go to your GP asap. I did complain to my hosptial as my diarreah started imediatiley after the colonoscopy. They gave me Coffee and Toast and that went through me. The reply back was the laxetive only remians in the body for 24 hours. Rubbish! Please Colin, go to your GP, he will check you over. I recomend those sachets to rehydrate you as well, any brand will do.
