I don't understand this been suffering with this chronic fissure for 5 months now. Have gotten this 4 times over 2 years but the last time it was very bad with no hope of healing. Finally with the GTN 0.2% it started healing but every week it would fck up because of a hard stool and even then when there was no blood there was immense pain after passing stool every morning that would last 8 hours.
Yesterday I passed a hard stool after it healing as usual and even worse an unpopped pop corn seed with a sharp edge was logged in a perfect position to tear into the fissure and undo everything. There was regular blood again, then I made a milk shake in the evening and put too much powdered milk and had a urgent bowel movement. After a lot of feces came out there was HUGE amounts of blood it scared me so much I couldn't believe that could happen.
At that point I accepted that I was going to die just looking at that amount of blood.
I went and took a bath used soap on my anus as usual dried off then applied the Nitro 0.2% cream, noticed there was no pain tho. Woke up next morning passed stool it had only a tiny tiny tiny drop of blood almost like no blood. Then shockingly no pain, didn't even bother to do sitz bath just applied the Nitro.
Went to work and to my surprise I could sit on a car seat with 0 pain, day went on and it felt like I never even had a fissure. The spasm just stopped or feels like it stopped, all the pressure from the spincther has completely disappeared. Even passing stool is almost pain free
What the hell happened? what could possibly be the explanation for this? could it be there was a small infection like an abscess or some sort that needed to get ruptured? because it resembles those "boil" abscess you sometimes get and swells then when its drained and blood comes out it starts to rapidly heal in 2 days.
This is what the situation feels like but I can't tell if that is the case or not, I don't even know how to feel about feeling this good given what has happened. I am eating papaya and its helping me a whole lot
