I had a minor fall while dismounting a horse and my ankle is somewhat numb. What could this mean?

I have been riding for five years, however I fell while dismounting and I was a bit sore after it since I had taken a six month break from riding. My entire body is aching which is understandable, however the next morning after the incident, I have been feeling pins and needles throughout the whole day from my ankle to my toes on my left leg. I've never felt this before and my family does have a history of diabetes but I don't understand why it would affect me so suddenly.

I dont have any idea what it could be but sometimes thats a sign of some type of nerve damage

Your best bet is to get checked out by a doctor and explain what happened

    Good luck
