@kate85294 Did you ever go back fort another scan on this and have they stayed the same or improved?
Anyone else had any t2 white matter hyperintensities and what did you do?

Yes, and they were specifically testing me for MS at the time as I had a bunch of symptoms, so to get that result was scary.
However my neurologist was pretty good at explaining that this is a 'normal' limit of white matter and I even though I had quite a number of white spots, I fell just within the range. Therefore not MS, so they assigned my symptoms to 'silent migraines' , i.e no pain just weird eye things, facial twitching etc and I was put on a preventer. It has worked amazingly. I haven't had those symptoms since or anything else that could resemble MS.
The neurologist said they will retest if something changes, however it has been 5 years and nothing has so far.

Thanks for your reply. Did he mention what the normal limit is? I dont know your age but it's not normal for young people to have these, especially below 50 I think. what is the presenter?
also have you not had another MRI? I would advice have one so you can see any change?

Hi, Im 37 so I am well under the typical age. WMH are noted to be seen on MRI's in people who have migraine disorders, which I do.
I can't remember what the normal limits where but there was no demyelination present.
There is no need for me to have another MRI at this stage as I have no neurological symptoms now.
