I have been suffering for a while and was diagnosed with FB about 4 months ago. I have just had a week away in Tunisia and had a pain free week. not sure if it was the sun or that I was relaxing but no pain. once I got home, after a few days the pain came back..

I just thought I would share this with you.

see reduced stress, and sunshine with nothing to do , and i bet no tv ,

    and your body loved it,

iv always said we know what causing our pain, but some choose not to think about it ,some are able to change it,some are not,

i know excatly whats making mine so much worse, but just at this present time i cant do anything about it,. i am so glad you had a pain free week pity you cant get it on prescription . .

try relaxing more at home remove stuff that agravates you ,

i.e  our tv liscence ends tommorow ,and we are not renewing it we are cutting the cable , i get so stressed at the total s--t thats on and if you get any decent proggrames your constantly bombarded with bloody noisey adverts really winds me up having to jump for the remote everytime ads come on because they ares o much more louder.

Yes, I had a similar experience when travelling around Mexico... fairly active, lots of walking, zip-wiring through the jungle, swimming etc. Very little pain. Even travelling on buses overnight seemed ok. I have wondered if it's the sunshine, lack of humidity or just getting away from it all that helps.

Ian, this is tremendously interesting if it is not psychological because I have believed for years that something in the environment is affecting people. My pain improves in places  like air conditioned supermarkets.
