I am a recent recipient of a TKR and I am NOT at medical professional. I do however relate to the pain issue ........I am now 6 weeks post surgery and finally off the pain meds.......with the exception of a little at night to help sleep.....a "little" meaning 1/2 of a hydrocodone 5mg. That being said my pain at your time frame was quite intense. My PT thought I might be pushing my exercising and walking too much and suggested I take a break from anything weight bearing (other than walking around the house) for a few days and low and behold the pain did subside . If by chance you are overdoing the PT / Exercises then maybe a break would help. A good question for your PT or Dr if nothing else. As several posts reiterate on this forum......it takes time, everyone is different and it does get better.Hang in there and good luck !!
