Hi everyone, I had my ablation on march 2nd 2018, the doctor told me it was successful but still he said I will have an xtra bit, This morning I felt like I couldn't breath for a second, I got scared and suddenly it starts the palpitations but it stops very fast, it seems like my heart will like to continue with the palpitations,  but the ablation stop it.

I am so sad again, I was feeling good, and I stopped the Metroprolol, because the doctor

told me I do not need it anymore  I ablate you he said, and you will not have the palpitations again, also he recommend me to see a Psychiatrist because I am an anxious person since I was a child, but I try to control myself, but I still feel anxiety, specially since I started with this palpitations.

This morning  I was so scared and I run to the freeze and I took cold water and stops, that was good, but I want to know if anyone felts that the heart stops for a minute and then the palpitations starts? And I am interested to know how do I supposed to feel the xtra bits the doctor said that I am still going to feel it?  Thanks for your answers.

All that day doesnt sound right to me as I’ve had 2 ablation and on no occasion was I taken off medication until 3 months woth no symptoms. I have still had AF since the second one and no way will they let me come off medication. I really think you may need a second opinion.

Hi, thanks for your response, I want to ask you but do you still have palpitations?  And how many months it pass since your second ablation.  Are you still taken medications?  Because my question is when you had the palpitations before or after did you felt like your heart stops for a second and then it starts tha palpitations, or you do not have that symptoms.

      HI Emma

I had last ablation 21st Dec. I’m still on meds and have had two week so ago with no AF but mine have that dip often in an episode which are horrid and I think it happens when I start and also just as it ends. Episodes slightly better since the procedure. Next step is see how it goes taking omeprazole as well as sure it’s vagal AF so we’ll see. It’s very debilitating as you know. But when I’m ok I’m good!

I had an ablation for Ventricular Tachycardia 8th April last year. The ablation successfully stopped my ectopic PVCs joining together to form VT, but they still try, especially after eating. Here is my ECG of a few days ago. Cardiologists are happy in that I am not going to die of palpitations, whereas VT in a different story.
