after 2 weeks of bed rest I went to see my surgeon again and he put me in a cast. stitches were not ready to be removed. i was told to put 50% weight first week and walk the second. the swelling has gone done major and i'm not sure if my cast is doing its job or if its too loose.

You will know if your cast was put on wrong or is to loose just by feel. If its uncomfortable for you, give them a call and they will re-cast you. Happened to me twice. No biggie! 😃
