I am glad that I found this forum. I think there probably is a connection between HG and server menopause symptoms. I am looking for advice and help. I am 52 yo who is going though menopause/perimenopasue. When I was pregnant, I had severe HG which caused my being hospitalized several time and on TPN the entire pregnancy. Now, I found myself in a new set of discomfort. I have been feeling dizziness/lightheadness/headache/foggy head. my symptoms are driving me crazy. and I am very frustrated. I went to so many doctors. I am still dizzy 24/7, my head still foggy for a lot of time, I still have some discomfort in the back of my head. now my blood pressure is also low from time to time. I have tried so many things and medications. I feel all these problems could be related to me going through menopause. I am looking for help from someone who is going through this or had gone through this. Thank you.

it is good to know that I am not alone. this really sucks! I feel that the dizziness is sucking the life out of me. I can't function. I can't think straight. I get anxious so easily. It is so uncomfortable for me to handle task, even a simple one. I feel so handicapped and damaged. This should not be the way of living. I agree. it is so unfair to have to deal with it everyday. I go to so many doctors. I am really tired of it. I hope this passes soon and we can get on with our lives. did your symptom improve somewhat? did your doctor recommend anything?

Hi Fran...a year and a half for me and 24/7 dizziness although, it is easing. I just started Bioto Dim SGS capsules. I got them from my gyn. It balances hormones. I did have one night on it where every part of my body hurt but, they say that's a good indication it will work for you and it will work out the imbalance. I only had that one night and have had increased energy and calmness in the past 5 days. Takes about a month to kick in but, I'm hopeful and I've tried everything. I'm sleeping better too for the first time since taking this. My doctor put me on an antihistamine too for the dizziness. That has helped. I'm on a low dose though. I can't take many meds without extreme side effects. Hang in there. It's so hard. It was the worst symptom along with the anxiety for me. Take Care Jeni

Hi Fran...it's Hydroxyzine. I take 5 mg's here and there. I tried 10 mgs and 20mg's but, I find the higher doses make me a bit irritable. I'm really sensitive to meds though. It does calm me down at 5 but, everyone is different. I know vertigo symptoms can cause anxiety. This med is good to treat anxiety which if treated I would assume would help the vertigo symptoms. Which it has for me because my dizziness has since eased since taking this and only this. Just make sure it's ok to take with any other meds or supplements you are taking. Sending you prayers...xo Jeni

Hi, this past few month since i missed my periods my symptoms have revved up, i dont even know myself anymore, i try everyday to relax and forget about them, this is what all doctors say, i wish it was that easy. my only relief is i get some good hours of sleep at night and rarely get hot flashes and the panic attacks have gone too. the worse for me now its been replaced by anxiety, fear, especially in the evenings. plus the bp spikes.
