    Hi

Am sorry to hear you are having problems with your feet and ankles. Still early days

but do you wear the white socks which you should have been given at the hospital and perhaps tablets to take both should help with the circulation which seems to be a problem.

I would give it a couple more weeks and if no better go back to the hospital. keep in touch on how its going.

      Hi

Am sorry i dont really know why you are having these problems. As i said before it could be due to circulation. You should be able to bend your ankle irrispective of the operation on your knee , there could be a trapped nerve, you really must go back to the hospital ASAP, that is all i can suggest.

If your other ankle is ok, it must be down to the Knee op , When i had a TKR 2 yrs ago i had no problems with my feet or ankle and i had socks and tablets for the first month.

      Good luck.

Hi Jewel, You are early on with your healing, not only healing from a surgery but, also an injury, you cannot compare it to an elective knee surgery...not knowing exactly what they did surgically, what you need to do is EXACTLY what your DR/surgeon tells you, physio, eating properly, taking meds, getting rest, elevating your leg, icing it, not too much salt...swelling can continue for quite a while, blood vessels get cut/damaged, tissue swells and gravity makes blood pool & swelling in the lowest portion of your leg(your ankle & foot) below the injury, esp when you are standing, exercising or walking....if you have ANY questions, issues...keep up communication with your DR, it will make sure you heal properly & address anything that is a problem ASAP and in an appropriate way, don't take laymen advise, they can only give general advice without knowing specifics...so stick with your DR/surgeons advise Good Luck for a full & speedy recovery BEST WISHES💒🎶♾🍀☮🌈🐾💐
